Job Highlights

  • Schedule:  2-3 days a week

  • other days occasionally, when grandparents can't watch him

Job Highlights

  • Schedule:  2-3 days a week 
  • First day could be (Monday or Friday)
  • Second day could be (Tuesday or Wednesday), 8am-2pm or 7am-1pm
  •  (10-15 hours a week) 10 hours will be guaranteed

The Mom Co of Peoria, in partnership with Nannies for Happy Families, is seeking reliable, caring, and experienced female caregivers to join our Kids Co program — a faith-based childcare experience for children aged 8 months to 5 years.

As a caregiver for Kids Co, you will provide a safe, nurturing environment for our littlest members while their moms connect in community.
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Light prep and room setup
     
  • Floating between classrooms (as needed)
     
  • Engaging, hands-on childcare
     
  • Being a friendly, dependable presence for children and families

  • Light tidying and general cleanup

  • Folding and putting away laundry
  • Wiping down counters, highchairs, and kitchen surfaces
  • Sweeping or vacuuming play areas
  • Restocking diapers, wipes, or nursery supplies
  • Preparing simple meals or snacks for children
  • Cooking basic family meals or assisting with meal prep
  • Cleaning up after meals
  • Supervising play while a parent is home
  • Reading books or engaging in age-appropriate activities
  • Assisting with diaper changes or potty training routines

  • Occasionally assist with family errands or light support tasks
  • Be flexible to adjust responsibilities based on family needs
  • the mother will provide a daily checklist of items items—including errands, meal prep, organizing, or household projects
  • Flexibility to pivot between childcare and light housekeeping as family needs evolve 
  • Running small errands (with permission)
  • Helping pack for trips or organize seasonal clothes
  • Assisting during family events or hosting playdates
  • Keeping an activity log or chore checklist for the day
     

Requirements and Considerations: Applicants must meet all job requirements to apply:

  • Proven experience as a nanny/Mother's helper with a proactive, loving, and gentle approach.
  • Ability to support the child's development with thoughtful and intentional care.
  • Open to traveling with family, please have Visa!
  • Great references (3) with proven experience with children (3 or more years).
